Sound Healing and Sound Bath Teacher Training Course by Sci Yoga

Sound Healing is a practice where we use vibrations to achieve holistic wellness and heal our hidden trauma, emotions, and mood disorders. It is a way of achieving inner calmness, stillness of the mind, and increasing productivity. It gives us a breather to get away from the fast-paced modern world and achieve tranquillity to unwind ourselves. It has multiple tools that target all dimensions of health, including physical, mental, spiritual, and social health.

The Sound Healing Teacher Training Course that we offer covers various instruments, such as singing bowls, prayer gongs, happy drum, ocean drum, rain sticks, pulse tube, shaker, tingsha, etc. These many instruments, all on the first two levels of the course, make our course one of a kind. We believe in robust delivery of the course, a solid foundation, and the best support after you walk out of our premises as a graduate.

We believe in building strong connections with our students where they can speak their hearts out, and we solve all of their doubts. We don’t hold back in our teaching; we give what we love. We also enable our students to lead their own class, practice using our props, and sharpen their skills. With our approach, we transform our students into successful sound healers.

Why Sound Healing is Becoming So Popular

Sound Healing is making its way into the Yoga circles with its unique benefits. It calms our nerves, relaxes the mind, eases unintentional built-up tension, rejuvenates energy, heals the soul, and nourishes our spiritual hunger.

Scientifically, how does a Sound Healing Teacher Training Course make sense?

At SciYoga, we also focus on the scientific aspects. Sound Healing is considered to be one of the best solutions for people who are looking for peace and who desire spiritual satisfaction[1]. It is also considered to be a practice with an easy learning curve; therefore, it has greater potential in helping people who want to get rid of undesirable mood disorders[1]. With the rise of artificial intelligence, the world is becoming digital; however, we humans are old-style analogue creatures, and we need real sounds, real energies, real people, and real bonding. No matter which speakers we use, our ears will be able to differentiate between a real, imperfect sound and a digitally perfect sound. We need imperfect, variably vivid sound with ups and downs in the frequency. Such vibrations make our brain achieve peace, spiritual satisfaction, relieve headaches, and more. Overall, sound healing is something that artificial intelligence will have a very tough time replacing. It is embracing our humanhood and helping us to heal all dimensions of our being.

The Yoga and Sound Healing Connection

Have you wondered how Sound Healing and Yoga are connected? They are connected by shared ethics, ecosystem, therapeutic benefits, and the same foundation. Sound Healing borrows quite a lot from Yoga’s ecosystem, including Chakras, Therapy, vibrations, and more. As we know, Chakras have emerged from the Yogic dimension of health. Chakras are energy vortices where Nadis (energy channels) meet inside our bodies. Every Chakra has significance of its own, and they are believed to be associated with our emotions, expressions, health, and energies. It is believed that if there are blockages in the Chakras, then we experience unease in our everyday lifestyle. At SciYoga, even though we are in science, we respect the ancient heritage of Yoga and Sound Healing.

How is our Sound Healing Teacher Training experience:

FAQ

Absolutely not. The sound healing teacher training course does not make you a musician or a singer. It is making you a sound healer who knows frequencies and the intricacies of different equipment. We cover all of these critical details in the course. Even to play these instruments, you will not need any understanding of music, but what you will need is practice. We give you time to sharpen your skills through practice. So, you don’t have to worry about musical understanding or singing.

SciYoga is an organisation centred around science and Yoga. For us, Yoga, spirituality, and science are all vital in every course. We don’t do cherry picking, so we will prioritise one over the other. And we acknowledge the fact that not all humans want science, and not all want spirituality. We offer a course where we present information as it is, with minimal opinions and biases. So you can paint the information that we provide based on your bias. This minimises psychological imposition on you.

It depends. We want atheists who are respectful to everyone and tolerant. If you are an atheist who has an opinion about everything, we request that you please join somewhere else. This is because we are a school that believes in Yoga and its values. And while you can become very logical and scientific, you would miss out on various aspects of Yoga.

A Sound Healer is someone who gives specialised “Sound Healing” sessions to their students based on their needs. Whereas a sound bath teacher or facilitator is someone who leads sound bath sessions. Sound Bath sessions are typically well-suited for small to large groups, and their aim is less nuanced and more generalised.
